Even same day loans can have great design
Creating online advertising for PayDay OK was a real challenge because the short-term load industry is so inundated with shady companies and the industry as a whole has a less than stellar reputation. Their online advertising needed to address directly address that industry stigma as well as sell PayDay OK’s services which is a lot to ask from a 15 second ad unit. I started with a striking but simple visual design and animation to get the consumers attention and quickly convey the concept of the campaign. The concept positioned the use of short-term loans as empowering to fix short-term problems and subtle humor was infused through the animation. The campaign succeeded by creating a record number of loan applications for PayDay OK and a sharp increase in brand awareness.
